The torcedores were asked to curb their consumption of Liga Privada cigars. These cigars were in high demand for export, and consumption by the makers themselves was limiting availability.

Understandably, this request was met with disappointment. Yet, it sparked a remarkable response. Instead of dissent, the torcedores channelled their talents into crafting their own signature liga. Their creation was not just a substitute but a standout masterpiece in its own right. It incorporated many of the same exquisite tobaccos found in Liga Privada. However, these tobaccos were from different vintages and primings, adding a unique twist to their blend.
