Bulgari, the luxury Italian brand, has unveiled its latest collection, the Octo Roma, which redefines the aesthetics of octagonal timepieces. The Octo Roma is a tribute to Bulgari’s Roman heritage and prestige roots and brings a refreshing silhouette to the collection.
The Octo Roma collection features a more rounded octagonal form, a departure from the angular and geometric design of the Octo Finissimo. Bulgari credits this unique design to the combination of two distinct yet intricately combined geometric shapes in the case design, resulting in a visually striking impact.
The collection consists of two models, the Octo Roma Automatic and Octo Roma Chronograph. The former comes in a 41mm case size and is powered by Bulgari’s own BWL 191 automatic mechanical movement. The modern dial is available in blue, anthracite, and white, all enhanced with a Clous de Paris 3D effect.
The Octo Roma Chronograph features a Clous de Paris patterned dial in blue or black and operates on the in-house BVL 399 self-winding calibre, complete with a chronograph function and the usual hours, minutes, and small seconds indications. The 42mm timepiece features a smoothly integrated screw-down crown and a matching stainless steel bracelet that maintains the watch’s streamlined aesthetics.
In addition, the Octo Roma collection offers additional straps in rubber and alligator leather, spanning various colors that can be purchased individually. The Octo Roma Automatic is priced at $7,300 USD, while the Octo Roma Chronograph retails for $9,150 USD, both currently available for purchase via Bulgari.
