Polestar has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the Polestar 4, which is positioned as an SUV-coupé hybrid between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 models in terms of size and pricing.

The vehicle boasts coupé-like aerodynamics, and its design features include a low nose, retractable door handles, and a lack of rear window for an “immersive rear occupant experience.” The front lights are also separated in a dual-blade design for a futuristic look. According to Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath, the company has taken a unique approach to SUV-coupé design, prioritizing comfort and experience for rear occupants instead of simply modifying an existing SUV.

The Polestar 4 can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds, with a maximum power output of 400 kW (544 hp). Dual and single-motor versions are available, with the latter offering rear-wheel drive. Michelin and Pirelli tires are available as well.

The indicative launch price for the 2024 Polestar 4 is $60,000 USD.
