A. Lange & Söhne has unveiled its first self-winding chronograph offering, the Odysseus Chronograph, at Watches & Wonders in Geneva. The new timepiece is the sequel to the initial Odysseus model launched in 2019 and features a newly developed L156.1 self-winding movement that runs up to 50 hours when fully wound, beating at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations every hour.

The design of the Odysseus Chronograph emphasizes openness and lightness with its stainless steel case measuring 42.5mm in diameter and a height of 12.2mm. The bezel is narrow, allowing for a larger dial display that includes date and day indications. The chronograph is released in a limited edition of 100 pieces, exclusively available at A. Lange & Söhne’s boutiques.

According to Anthony de Haas, the director of product development at A. Lange & Söhne, “The Odysseus Chronograph transports the contemporary and one-of-a-kind design of the watch family to a new technical dimension. It meets all the requirements of a stopwatch suitable for many fields of application, without relinquishing the hallmarks of Lange precision watchmaking.”

For those interested in the new timepiece, head to A. Lange & Söhne’s official website to inquire about its price.
