The latest campaign from Louis Vuitton has been unveiled, featuring football superstar Lionel Messi in a solo advertisement. This follows the widely popular campaign last year which showcased Messi and fellow football icon Cristiano Ronaldo. However, this time the focus is solely on Messi, who is making his second appearance in an advertisement campaign for the luxury French fashion house.
The first campaign featured the two football legends engaged in a game of chess, which was inspired by a famous match that ended in a draw. Interestingly, Messi emerged as the winner of the World Cup, leading Argentina to victory for the first time since 1986.
In the new “Horizons Never End” campaign, Messi is photographed by Glen Luchford in an airport setting, posing and lounging with his LV Horizon suitcase. The suitcase was first launched in 2016 and is made from an ultra-lightweight material, covered in a specially designed Monogram or Damier canvas. The campaign showcases Messi’s effortless style and elegance, further reinforcing his association with the Louis Vuitton brand.
Overall, the campaign reinforces the brand’s image of luxury, sophistication, and exclusivity. The use of Lionel Messi, one of the world’s most popular athletes, highlights the brand’s ongoing commitment to promoting their products to a global audience.
